Wire Jewelry Tutorial: Wire Flowers by KSJewellery

Another guest artist come on board. You can now choose to get the instruction in composing this beautiful metal flower jewelry directly from Kristin (from K S Jewellery Designs), or you may check it out from de Cor’s Handmades’s instant download site on KSJewelleryDesigns: Wire Flowers , Wire Jewelry Tutorial page.

This should be one of the collection of craft book club!  If you are thinking to send flowers online – well, this is definite an out-of-the-box solution, something old, something new, and the best thing is you are making these flowers yourself, with precious metals. So instead of focusing female artists, I urge our manly men-artists to check this out too. I don’t know about you but for me, when I saw this design for the first time I got curious how those petals connect to each other and stayed put. Kristin is awesome enough to put 4 variations into just one craft eBook and charging that ridiculous low price (ops I didn’t say that), and these are my favorites amongst all:

Here’s a little bio about Kristin:

My name is Kristin Smith. I live in a beautiful village in the countryside in Surrey, England with my husband and two young children.

I am a self-taught jewellery designer with a background in art and wire work. I work with sterling silver, pure silver clay, fine silver, gemstones, Swarovski Crystals, lampwork and boro glass beads. I love exploring the different textures that silver can show through hammering, brushing, burnishing, etc. and how these change the way the light catches on the metal.

I sell my jewellery at boutiques, fairs, parties, Etsy and Folksy, as well as taking commissioned orders. Please feel free to contact me if you are interested in any of my pieces.

Please stop by at K S Jewellery Designs BLOG and Flickr.

I will be adding Kristin’s designs slowly one by one – not that I didn’t want them to be available for you sooner, but really, only if I have more than 24 hours a day to live.

It’s Mid-Autumn Festival tomorrow, it’s a full moon, the largest full moon of the year, and for Chinese, everyone try to go home for a reunion if they can make it. I will surely spend time with my family tomorrow night, may be I will take some photos to show you guys what is it all about. :)

Check back this blog often alright? And leave a comment if you like – so that Kristin know what you think about her offer. :)
