Wire Jewelry: Diamond Round Earrings On Me

Related Post:

Wire Jewelry: Diamond Round Earrings

The challenge us artists will face is that, when we magnify our designs to deliver a very clear view of design's elements or components, viewers get overly obsessed in details or even hunting down construction's flaws. Not entirely a bad thing, well not entirely a good thing, either. Buyer deserves every right to see their pieces being magnified and presented with it's most detailed details, but, they might forget they are supposed to imagine themselves wearing the designs on them.

Which is exactly why I will have to put it on me. When I presented this design alone, the feedback was not great, people think I should use different kind of gemstones, people thinks that the components weren't connected in a more perfect manner, etc.

But hey, look at it when it's on someone's earlobes!

I absolutely love this design and won't change a thing to make it look "more perfect" to your liking, perhaps one day you will be convinced? :D

Wire Jewelry: Diamond Round Earrings

Diamond Round Dangling Earrings this is, also known as Diamond Circle Earrings.
Earrings' diameter: 2.3cm. Made with 92.5 silver wires and diamond-cut Cubic Zirconias.

These earrings will surely turn heads, I know I would! I have always love seeing people wearing simple diamond circle earrings, personally I'd think they shout louder than any colorful/ wild earrings. Oh wait, diamonds actually gathered all 7 seven colors I reckon? Earrings are not as heavy as some diamond hoop earrings can be, I love it for it's visibility - you just can't miss it when somebody is wearing it. And I am not ready for soldering just yet - so to create swirls to stay put all wires seems to be working. I love it's simplicity too, simple means durable and adaptable to any occasion, it go well with shirt-and-jeans as well as evening gowns, basically, these darling make pretty everyday pieces.

Material I've used:
- 20ga wires
- 30ga wires
- 1 pair of earhooks
- cubic zirconia beads

Considering this as an easy project, it took me approximately 4 hours completing one side of the earrings mainly on wire-wrapping the frames together as well as attaching a set of eight Diamond-cut Cubic Zirconias onto it. This sparklies go really well with Boyfriend Shirt + old-torn jeans and opened-toes heels.

See it's size on my palm:

Love making jewelry, though it's a damn lonely process. The result is rewarding, and hey, I get to wear new jewelleries whenever I want. So please envy me, LOL!

UPDATE: Step By Step Tutorial that uses same technique to make this design is now available for download - Diamond Circle Ring.

A little bit this and that

I wonder how busy can one get. I haven't been in touch with anyone that makes jewelry, except for sometimes, writing to them and greet.

I have missed you.

Wire Jewelry: Studs Earrings For White Swan

This is a stud/post earring.
Material: 92.5 Silver, Cubic Zirconia.
Weight: 1.3gram each
Studs measure 1 inch tall and 1.5cm at its widest measure.

Yes i was watching "Black Swan" featuring Natalie Portman, this design is heavily influenced by her hairstyle at her very last few scenes, when she was playing the White Swan role:
The stud is not to position at the center of earlobe, and this design is going to be a mirrored set, though, when wear, it wraps upwards, securing the earlobe gracefully to give it a very romantic feel. I haven't done with this design, yet - work had been crazy but I will definitely get the other side done sometimes this week, and then will "try" to wear it for some portrait shoots, then you will see what I meant. :)

Til then, see ya! :)

Title: Triple Tiered Garnet
Artist: Victoria S Goulder a.k.a Vickie Goulder

Vickie mentioned that these earrings are actually inspired by a rainbow colored necklace she saw at a store that sells her pieces, and she couldn't afford the necklace so had to make these earrings as her consolation. There's a bit of repetition to this earrings, so once you get one tier, it's easy to put the rest of this together. List of tools and materials are included!

Wire Jewelry Tutorial: PEACE

Category: Wire Jewelry Tutorial

Title: PEACE Pendant
Artist: Victoria S Goulder a.k.a Vickie Goulder

What can I say? She gave the normal peace pendant a bit of softness with a little bouquet of silver flowers. She also suggested to use some colored beads for the design to make a spring bouquet of flowers. A design that I've longed to have, dedicated to World Peace.
