For LH, Finalized with Sterling Silver

IMG_7115 IMG_7120 IMG_7129 IMG_7131 IMG_7132 IMG_7138

All metals are Sterling Silver.

4cm tall, 3cm at it’s widest measure.

Weight: 4.2gram each.

Materials: 8mm X 6mm Amethyst teardrops, Purple Swarovski Crystal Pearls

It only make sense to see these pretties on her, just in case I will need to modify it somewhat somehow. But it’s perfect (IMHO), and I am totally thrilled seeing it on her!

Congrats LiHung, wish you and Wei live happily ever after!

Unchained Melody

IMG_1301 IMG_1283 IMG_1287 IMG_1290 IMG_1291 IMG_1293 IMG_1299

Technique: FISH Tutorial

The Spirit of the song, YU (Fish), by Cheers Chin, is being free and unbound by.

I did not close the circle, instead, I set the shape by stitching through those spaces of the knotting and attached a diamond cut Cubic Zirconia at it’s center.

This pair of post earrings have 1.5cm diameters, and it’s 1.7cm tall including the Swarovski Crystal bead at it’s top.

Enjoy viewing!

A little bit here and there

IMG_1240

As soon as I posted my FISH to forum, people start sharing FISH’s history – how it is associated to Christianity and all. Whilst enjoying the read up about how “Fish” are related to Christianity, I would also want to tell the history of this design of mine.

Download and learn how to construct this NOW: DHC009 FISH, Tutorial.

Well before I start, allow me to brag a little about this: for those who have had my tutorial won’t be surprised by the quality of the pictures I’ve used for my tutorial, but still, I can’t help but still want to show a bit of the photos I’ve took to compose this new tutorial. A set of photos like this is used to compose this lesson, like it? I am sure you do. :)

I’ve also included an optional chapter if you decided to add more texture to the Fish’s body, because now you can. :)

Anyway, as mentioned, this design is heavily inspired by a song in Cheers Chin’s new album titled “Fish”. It’s a Chinese song (obviously). I always love Cheers for her “raw talent”, too bad her lyrics were too great to be translated (may be someone that masters both Chinese and English language could try to translate?), and moment like this I’d always be grateful for being someone that could read Chinese. :)

Enjoy, and have a great week ahead. :)

TUTORIAL - STEP BY STEP WIRE JEWELRY - The Love Knot, FISH

This item is also available at my Etsy store. You don't have to be a PayPal user, you may use Credit Card for payment.

Tutorial-DCH009: FISH
Introduction:
With help of technology, I finally am able to write this step-by-step guide without struggling too much on capturing the work flow and worrying that there's not much details left to show. This tutorial is composed using 58(including coverpage) high-resolution pictures, all steps and procedures are zoomed and focus to deliver the precise instruction via a set of terrifically clear pictures.

In this document, it also listed out the tools and materials used to achieve this composition. The tutorial will walk you through the entire process of creating this FISH design.

Highlight:
The usual way of attaching beads to the core focal includes:
1. Attach beads by coiling on the core wires or,
2. Attach a chain on the core wires so that you will have space to attach beads.

So what so special about this technique?
The essential part about this design is - the knotting itself will create a whole stretch of tiny holes that's technically, would allow a 30ga wires to go through it TWICE. Knowing that 30ga wires are widely used for bead attachment, this technique will be very useful for your jewelry creation. You are able to preserve the originality of your design, and add texture to them for richer finish.

Level: Advance.

You can also pay for the tutorial via PayPal by sending 9.95USD to decors.l@gmail.com by specifying "DCH009 FISH" in the title of the transaction, or click on the
Add to Cart button to purchase. The PDF file will be sent to the e-mail address set in your PayPal profile.

PLEASE DO NOT LEND TO OTHERS, SHARE AMONG FORUM, SHARE AMONG FRIENDS, COPY AND MASS PRODUCE THE DESIGN OUT OF IT. And if you would be so kind, please give a credit to me if my tutorial inspired you or helped you in your jewelry making journey, it would be greatly appreciated!
