I've blogged about Liudmila's Wire Jewelry Haircombs yesterday, today I am going to compile her Wire Jewelry 2 Prongs Hairpins Gallery. The main different is that hair-combs are in comb format i.e. more sticks/ prongs, which could hold the bun's shapes better than 2 prongs hairpins, I personally uses 2 prongs hairpins on daily basis because hair-combs are usually too wide for my little hair buns, unless I am making french hair buns will I use hair-combs to stay put the shape. :)

So there, hairpins series actually does come with silver prongs, I can't help wondering how sturdy it is, silver are usually soft unless it is heavily tumbled, these hairpins ought to be as tough as silver spoons otherwise it's going to be challenging to stay put the hair buns. :)

So far these are the wire jewelry haircombs done by Liudmila I could find, I am sure there are more, most of them were made with copper or brass, I'd personally wish to see more of them in silver. Oh and I thought titanium might be a good choice too - sturdy, lightweight and will not tarnish, then again, I have never really made any hair accessories with precious metal myself so until then, I shall continue to study.
