Wired PIPA Knot Earrings, Faceted Rondelle iolites
The color of iolites often hard to describe, it's a little blueish, it's purplish, and there isn't any day/lights, it's dark blue.
Commissioned piece, this pair of Wired PIPA Knot earrings are made with 92.5 sterling silver wires, adorned with faceted rondelle iolites and sterling silver round beads, featuring Swarovski Chaton Montes Crystals.
Measurement:
Weight: 2.5gram each side, total 5gram.
2.5cm tall, 1.5cm at its widest measure.
Comparing it with the previous pair of commissioned pieces, aren't they equally lovely?
Actual size of the earrings:

I am capturing the picture of this pair of Wired PIPA Knot Earrings adorned with 92.5 Sterling Silver round beads and Faceted Round Garnets, featuring Swarovski Chaton Montes Crystals together with the leftover faceted round garnets, I supposed I could make two or three pair more of this design, and as soon as I announced that on de Cor's Handmades fanpage, I sold another pair of this! Thank you, Syin, for liking it! :D
Measurement:
Weight: 2.5gram each side, total 5gram.
2.5cm tall, 1.5cm at its widest measure.
Additional good news: the buyer of this design just placed another order that she would like me to make a matching pendant so she could have this as a set. :)
Gotta go back to the workbench soon! Will post more frequently!

Wired PIPA Earrings adorned with faceted round garnets
The first set of 3-hours-worth-of-work was to craft out the earring base of both sides.
The second set of 3-hours-worth-of-work was to stay put and set sturdy the bases.
The third set was to adorn it with sterling silver round beads and the faceted round garnets beads, only managed to complete one side of the earrings in 3 hours.
Special thanks to Erin Paton (earringsbyerin) for the wonderful beads, it was a gift from her 5 years ago and it had been my precious collections, today I finally used them. Miss you much Erin.
I will be working on the other side of the earrings tonight, then will take a proper photo (the picture in this blog post was captured by my iPhone 5) and post it here again.
Stay tuned!

PIPA Earrings, Wired Chinese Knot
Anya made these. :)
It never failed to put a smile on my face when I see my jewelry artist friend's attempt on making PIPA jewelry.
Wired PIPA Earrings was my first ever Wired Chinese Knot jewelry piece and its a signature design of mine, and now, Anya have made her first PIPA pendant into a great success. From her version of Wired PIPA Pendant you could probably tell how much attention she'd invested to ensure the outcome turn out to be as close to what I've taught in the PIPA Earrings tutorial as possible. Thank you, Anya, I appreciate your effort and attention. :)
So, a classic PIPA this is:
Then, a variation - knowing Anya, this is definitely a must do after she equipped herself with the knowledge on making the basic Wired PIPA Jewelry:
Totally stunning and classy, ain't it? I especially like how she'd planned her non-round frame, it remind me of how Erin made her's. It's not straight forward, and I am glad that she did not compromise on the little details.
I am actually hoping to see more pieces from Anya, I've seen how she'd made her ROSE ring (image heavy) by adapting Kiki's Adjustable Rose Ring tutorial, I know she would apply whatever she'd learned onto her own jewelry pieces. :)

New Movie Clips for PIPA designs, Wired Chinese Knot collection, Wire Jewelry
I chuckle a little reading the title itself, ha ha. Movie clips? I wished. :P
Hey sorry if you have enter this blog because of this blog post title – I didn’t meant to frame you lol, for as much as I would like to compose some movie clips I am NOT THERE YET! But you know what? I will be one day!!! (I don’t know, I am sorta fan of Susan Boyle, she gave me so much hope when she sang “I Dreamed a Dream
So now, spare a minute and 39 seconds of your time to see what I’ve put together for your viewing pleasure. This Wired Chinese Knot, PIPA design is significant to me and the Wire Jewelry community as more than a thousand of wire jewelry artists have shown their interest and brought PIPA Earrings Tutorials home in the very same year it was published - yes, thousands of wire jewelry artists, have shown their very supportive spirit and opened-mind to accept this new approach, new adaption, new concept of Chinese Knot! So yes, year 2008 certainly meant something to me, praise the wire jewelry community for the ability to accept the new concept.
Back to this movie clip.
Most of the pieces presented in this clip were composed in year 2008 itself – because it was a new concept back then in year 2008, I’ve put in fair amount of time and effort to invent/ re-invent of how Wired PIPA knot and other Wired Chinese Knot can adapt into designs, the key to have a design being widely accepted is to inspire people on how the design can possibly be or, vary, a.k.a. variation.
I plan to continue to present my designs/ collection in movie clip format if you would allow me, just let me know if you welcomed it by leaving me a comment here in my blog or a comment there in Youtube, rate it if you can, and if you have a Youtube profile, remember, remember, re-mem-ber to subscribe my video list so that I could subscribe yours too! Love these stuff! :)
Hope you enjoyed viewing!

Corina’s attempts on PIPA and LayerCoiled
I’ve got a mail yesterday that says:
LOL… Yeah Ms. Corina got my name wrong but I won’t mind it this time because she’d sent me a few attachments that truly made my day:
This is her result of trying out DCH001 tutorial.
And these….
Of course, are from my signature design DCH002 PIPA Earrings tutorial. Great execution making it into a pendant Ms. Corina!
Now I can’t wait to see how her “A” Pendant would turn out like! Personally I think she is very, very ready for greater challenges, perhaps I’d urge her to try out Rosabella Pendant tutorial soon. :)
So, pay a visit to Corina’s Etsy or ArtFire store to see what she has? She has something really interesting in her store – in case you have been looking for them! :)

PIPA Pendant, Year 2009
Technique: PIPA
The very last time I’ve created a complete PIPA classic was in Thursday, November 13, 2008. It is just about right now to revisit before June starts. :)

The Details
Most of my designs/creations were really tiny – and yet I stress a lot on my creation’s “details”. I am not sure if you are able to tell the difference between these photos and what have been photographed before – I know I am very, very happy now with these pictures because, I, finally, am able to present you what valued most for my designs and creations - the “details”.
Passiflora Studs/ Post Earrings
Seriously, I hope you would love these pictures – and their details. :)
