The Details
Most of my designs/creations were really tiny – and yet I stress a lot on my creation’s “details”. I am not sure if you are able to tell the difference between these photos and what have been photographed before – I know I am very, very happy now with these pictures because, I, finally, am able to present you what valued most for my designs and creations - the “details”.
Passiflora Studs/ Post Earrings
Seriously, I hope you would love these pictures – and their details. :)

PIPA and ZHU

Vickie told me she was going to try the tutorial over the weekend, quote from her convo:
"Here they are. I did change the ring a little because the knot was too big (maybe I didn't do the knots tight enough. I used a champagne colored freshwater pearl for the ring."
Absolute Gold and Silver, I am very proud of you Vickie - considering these are your first attempt! :)

Organic Drops, earrings, ZHU

One thing about ZHU technique - you won't know what will turn out in the end, you can't "engineer" your jewelry because, It is too "raw" to be engineered, period. :)

2nd Ed: When the East meets the West

Cross designe courtesy by Iza. Check out Iza's Cross tutorial.
I went ahead using silver wires without completing the second prototype piece, guts feeling told me all measurements would work, it really did turned out right in the end.
:) I had fun for this piece, though it's good 8 hours of hard work, blame my slow hands. I think this pendant is now ready to be sent out to my MIL this Sunday.
Thanks Iza. ^^

When the East meets the West

Hubby is hoping that I could make a cross pendant for his mom (my mother in law), though I am pretty much know how to wrap three wires together (as I have already done it on my Hugging PIPA bangle), I thought It is only polite to give an official notice to Iza. So I bought her Cross tutorial on Friday evening, thought that I could try it out over the weekend. But the tutorial arrived 2 days later. That's just too bad. She is not delivering tutorials on weekend and public holiday, my problem is I wasn't aware that it was a public holiday on Friday at where she was. And then later came mail server problem as she said - she gotta re-send the tutorial after I thought I'd waited long enough and convo-ed her.
Back to the cross, here's the lesson learned and summary:
- Purchase Iza's tutorial earlier in week if you are going to try it out on weekend, check her country's calender if there's any Public Holiday too - to avoid appeared like a fool (me).
- I didn't have 18ga wires so I was using 20ga soft - big no no for big cross like this.
- 26ga stainless steel wires are just too hard to operate for the wrapping, so I used 28ga stainless steel wires - big no no unless you would wrap the wires closer to each other and tighter.
- I didn't have the beads she was using - so the "beads" you see at the center portion were Loose ZHU created using technique introduced in ZHU.Ring tutorial.
- Watch out for the measurements - NEVER EVER use precious metal if you are trying this tutorial for the first time, the buffer wires is more than I'd expected.
- Learned a few new techniques especially attaching beads at wire loops (ending of the beams)
Thanks for looking! I will try this out in copper wires one more time if the outcome is satisfying, I hope I will have enough time to make it with silver wires.

Its alive, ZHU, Wired Chinese Knot

One of the top seller in Etsy suddenly called for a break. Not wanting to know the reason, I do hope she is well.I created this pendant just a while ago, the whole thing is not closed, the begging and it's ending was just hugging each other. I didn't want to wrap to close it up.
The pendant is alive, it lives to tell a tale. You may, if you want, open it up and let it breath, let it take a deep breathe and tomorrow will be a brand new day.
- "Reset."

Post Earrings, ZHU, Wired Chinese Knot
Another variation of technique introduced in ZHU.Ring tutorial.
I am obsessed with this pair of post earrings. It is simple, I did not do much twist or deco, but i just LOVE it!
Purely done in stainless steel wires, I have better control this time. :)

Loose ZHU, Pendant, Wired Chinese Knot

This pendant is made of stainless steel wires, garnet beads and teardrop-bloodstone. I made a loose ZHU and slipped it in to the pendant center, and attached beads with technique introduced in my Layer-Coiled CrystalPearl Earrings tutorial. It looks better in real. :)
