For LH, Finalized with Sterling Silver

IMG_7115 IMG_7120 IMG_7129 IMG_7131 IMG_7132 IMG_7138

All metals are Sterling Silver.

4cm tall, 3cm at it’s widest measure.

Weight: 4.2gram each.

Materials: 8mm X 6mm Amethyst teardrops, Purple Swarovski Crystal Pearls

It only make sense to see these pretties on her, just in case I will need to modify it somewhat somehow. But it’s perfect (IMHO), and I am totally thrilled seeing it on her!

Congrats LiHung, wish you and Wei live happily ever after!

Corina’s attempts on PIPA and LayerCoiled

I’ve got a mail yesterday that says:

image

LOL… Yeah Ms. Corina got my name wrong but I won’t mind it this time because she’d sent me a few attachments that truly made my day:

This is her result of trying out DCH001 tutorial.

And these….

Of course, are from my signature design DCH002 PIPA Earrings tutorial. Great execution making it into a pendant Ms. Corina!

Now I can’t wait to see how her “A” Pendant would turn out like! Personally I think she is very, very ready for greater challenges, perhaps I’d urge her to try out Rosabella Pendant tutorial soon. :)

So, pay a visit to Corina’s Etsy or ArtFire store to see what she has? She has something really interesting in her store – in case you have been looking for them! :)

Gift for a friend's special friend

This is a gift for a friend's special friend. :)

This pair of earrings uses technique introduced in DCH001 Tutorial, Noticed that the method of attaching beads is pretty much different from the usual way you will use, again it's knotting. :) The technique used will set the bead exactly where you want it to be, and will not fall to the front or behind of the frame.

This piece is made with stainless steel wires, metal bead and swarovski crystal, I hope my friend's special friend will find this attractive. :)

Loose ZHU, Pendant, Wired Chinese Knot

This pendant is made of stainless steel wires, garnet beads and teardrop-bloodstone. I made a loose ZHU and slipped it in to the pendant center, and attached beads with technique introduced in my Layer-Coiled CrystalPearl Earrings tutorial. It looks better in real. :)

The Fruits of Madness by Shuku

Shuku tried to make her own LayerCoiled Earrings after I delivered her the tutorial - on the same day itself, and stayed up til morning refusing to go to sleep until she made the first piece. I admire her passion and patience. Take a look at what she had to say. :)

Very well done Shuku, I am glad that you took the first step with faith. Now everything else falls into the right places!

BoHo the Free Soul

This item is currently available at my Etsy store.

************************************************************************************
The shade on this Tiger Eye caught my eye-sight right away when I first see it, and I couldn't resist to bring it home! And since I wanted to create something in tear-drop shape so badly, hence this creation! :)

*****************************************************************************************************************

I have created this pendant from scratch. Beautiful tiny freshwater pearls and lots of different sized metal-beads are coiled into the layered net, with a beautiful polished Tiger Eye measured 20mm tall X 15mm wide X 8mm deep at it's center. An additional cubic zirconia to add extra shine to this piece. It reminds me of Bohemianism, though. :)

Pendant measure 2" X 1.5" from the top of the frame, weighing 12.0 gram.

Something About Tiger Eye:
Tiger's eye (also Tigers eye, Tiger eye) is a chatoyant gemstone that is usually yellow- to red-brown, with a silky luster. It is a fibrous silicified crocidolite (blue asbestos), a classic example of pseudomorphous replacement. An incompletely silicified blue variant is called Hawk's eye. A member of the quartz group, its physical and optical properties are identical or very near to those of single-crystal quartz.
